In the uglies and pretties books?

so ive already read all the books but im re reading them because someone had stolen my uglies and pretties books and i got them again for christmas but am i the only one that wasnt happy with the whole David/Zane thing? like well now im pretty so i love zane but oh zane is dead i guess its okay to be with david again? and i wasnt exactly happy with the way zane died like they are just like oh by the way zanes dead on and on? and how do you know if your supposed to put la or wa at the end of you name like tall way Tally Wa and Shay was Shay La....i believe ive not got the book beside me at the moment
