Even a quality, custom paint job can reduce the value of a bike--after all, it's customized for YOU, not the buyer. Spray painting with rattle cans is pretty much the same as vandalizing it with graffiti. Its value will plummet. If you do it, do it for yourself, and forget about resale value.
